Indian summer walk in the woods

Yes, I am dipping my toes into the world of blogging. A mere four years after Ellen introduced me to the whole craft blogging world. Who knew? Now TV is a thing of the past and evenings not spent with a Netflix delivery are spent cruising blogland.

I've thought frequently about starting a blog as a way to keep in touch with friends and family and as a way to keep a visual record. This past year posting to Flickr has opened yet a whole other world and inspired me farther.

I still have a LOT to learn about layout etc. but decided I had to start somewhere.

So here is my first post... a walk in the woods.

The late afternoon sun is lovely as we start down the lane.

Pushing the neighbors bush out of the way.
Reflected bare trees in the forest pools.

Fading ferns.

Heading back home.

Back on the lane.

  2. I have both a Canon Power Shot G9 and a G11 (got the latter when the G9 died - have since had it repaired). They are great for carrying around anywhere. Would love to get a dig SLR one of these days.
